You Stinker

Today, you and I went to another dragon boat team meeting held at the West Coast bank downtown.  We meet in their conference room upstairs which usually has a number of chairs stacked together along the walls.  You were climbing under and through those chairs and under the table along the window.  Wish I had gotten a picture.  It was pretty silly.  You embarrassed Cheree a bit too :)  She crawled under the table to play with you right about the time someone said her name.  Everyone wanted to know where she was...well those of us that knew said she was under the table.  Only, you had left the area so she just looked like she was crawling around under the table!  Way to go!  Cheree's a nice lady and took the joke pretty well but I think her face might have been a little red.

A Year and A Half!

You entered my world a year and a half ago exactly today.  I can't imagine my world without you now.  I don't even have the words to tell you how much I love you!  You are frustrating and you keep me from sleep and you have even caused me serious physical pain.  

But more than that, you have made my heart sing and you make me (as I've told you before) truly want to be a better person.  You bring joy to my life in a way that no one else can.  I'm always so amazed at the joy that you bring to others lives as well.  People who aren't fans of kids are fans of yours. 

 Please keep that joy in your life.  It will take you to good places.  I love you little dude...thank you so much for joining me and your Father in this journey called life!

And, in October, you will have someone else joining you as you take on the world!

President's Day at the Carousel with Gma and Gpa Jones

Today was President's Day which means I had the day off.  Gma and Gpa Jones came over and we all went down to Riverfront Park so you could ride the carousel.  I'm pretty sure it's your new favorite thing.  I got to go on it with you for the first time.  Apparently, your favorite horse (or maybe it's really Daddy's favorite horse) is Sonshine.  Then, Gma went with you.  

Your Dad and I knew the guy running it and he handed me a free token so Gpa Jones with with you a third time.  Then, we all went to Red Robin for lunch.  

You feel asleep on the way over and continued to sleep while we went in the restaurant and even slept until the waitress brought our food.  You must have been pretty tired from riding that carousel so much!

 

Happy Valentine's Day!

This afternoon you and your Daddy made me a sweet Valentine's Day card.  Our new neighbor, Marnie, had the two of you over so you could make the card with her grandson Eames.  I think you guys did a great job.  Thank you so much!
