First Kayak Trip of the Season

Today was wonderful.  We kayaked with a group of our friends from Albany to Buena Vista.  I was so worried about taking you because you are so active and the water is still pretty high and fast.  I didn't need to worry!  You were wonderful.  

I "leashed" a couple toys to the front so you could throw them over.  After lunch, I gave you your blanket and you fell asleep.  You even slept through some rougher water, landing the boat, dragging the boat up to the grassy area, and while we waited for everyone to run shuttle!  You seemed to have a good time.  

I can't believe what a little man you are becoming.  Thank you so much for sharing kayaking with your Dad and I!

Easter 2012 with the Joneses

Today we had a wonderful Easter dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Jones.  Grandma Bonnie even filled little plastic eggs with candy so Daddy could hide them for you.  You didn't get a good nap so when it was time to look for eggs you weren't too excited.  Once you figured out there was candy inside, you started to get a bit more engaged.  Got some nice snuggle time with Grandma Bonnie too in the cute little plaid shirt and sweater-vest outfit she got for you!

Gorgeous spring day at Capitol Mall Park

Today we went to the opening of the Salem Saturday Market.  Since it was such a nice day and the cherry blossoms were out in full bloom, we went over to Capitol Mall Park.  You had a great time running around and playing in the grass.

Rebecca's Birthday

Hans, Rebecca, and Destiny came over tonight so we could help them celebrate Rebecca's birthday.  The adults had takeout from an Indian restaurant and ribs while you kids ran around.  I think perhaps you guys had more fun than us adults. However, I'm pretty sure we all had fun together!
