Memorial Weekend

What a great weekend.  Your brother, you and I drove to Bandon on Thursday.  Friday morning we got up and went to breakfast with Papa i.e. Grandpa.  Grandpa and I always take our own cups to get coffee.  They have one of the double-handled mugs that Lynne made for you so I told you to grab it for hot chocolate.  All you would talk about on the way in was hot chocolate.  The lady who took our order almost melted at the cuteness when you put your cup up there with ours.  After breakfast we went to the beach.  You walked all of the way from the jetty to Face Rock and up the stairs with Grandpa.  Riley and I walked part way with the two of you then we turned around and went back to the car to go get you guys.  Grandpa found a walking stick that was just perfect for you!  It must have worn you out cause you took a three hour nap after we got back to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

On Saturday we all piled into Grandma and Grandpa's car and went for a drive up Elk River.  We found a great spot down by the river and had a picnic lunch.  You had a great time throwing rocks in the river!

On Sunday we met my friend Katrina for lunch and then wandered around Old Town for a bit and got a snack at Cranberry Sweets.  Then, we went to Grandma Abbie and Grandpa Keith's house.  It was so cute, you kept calling Grandma Abbie, Momma Abbie.  She didn't care...she loves you so much!  You got to see a bunch of your cousins and jump on the trampoline!  You weren't sure about the jumping part...I think you're just training to be a tiller.  You know, be able to stay upright in really hard conditions ;)

We stayed over night at Grandma Abbie and Grandpa Keith's.  So, this morning we got to have breakfast with them, Mandy and Steve and Alex and Cameron, and Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ralph.  Bob and Chris brought Shelby, Jamison and Elliana back up for breakfast too!  You ate three of Grandma Abbie's pancakes.  Then we drove home.  You chattered at me the whole way!  You also pinched your brother while he was sleeping...thanks, NOT!
