Tia kind of messed up her hip this afternoon so you, Riley, and I went to Dos Hermanos for dinner. It's been quite a while since we've gone. You both loved the food.
No one could believe you were eating the salsa - two waitstaff came over and told you it was spicy. That was before they even saw you eating it straight out of the bowl with a spoon!!!! Never a dull moment ;)
"It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself." -Joyce Maynard

Camping at Diamond Lake
Your brother and I went camping with Grandpa Bud and a bunch of the pesticide investigators I work with this weekend at Diamond Lake. It was a blast...other than the pesky mosquitoes! You did wonderful and had a great time following Isaak's little girls around :)
And, Grandpa Bud made you your very own walking stick...just like his!

What's Up Doc?
We picked a carrot out of our garden today - it was long and beautiful and you ate it like an ear of corn. Hilarious!
Growing up my Grandpa Verlin would always have me pick carrots out of his garden and then ask, "What's up Doc?" as I ate them. You brought back a special memory today. Thank you!!
